New NRS Reporting Requirements for Entered and Retained Employment

As has been previously explained at recent NRS and state directors’ meetings, the new NRS reporting requirements for the entered and retained employment measures will take effect this year for the annual report due on December 31, 2007.  Under the new requirements adult education will report the two employment measures according to the same timeframe as WIA Title I programs. The 12 month periods on which you report entered and retained employment are different from eachother and differ from the months for which you report other NRS data. Please view the webinar and NRS Tips on this subject or see the PowerPoint and reporting chart for more information on how to report employment measures. Send questions to NRS@air.org.

The National Reporting System for Adult Education (NRS) is administered by the Division of Adult Education and Literacy in the Office of Vocational and Adult Education at the U.S. Department of Education.
