Farewell to Mike Dean< About NRS< Home

Where in the World is Mike Dean?        Mike Dean Accepting Award

Mike Dean, the Adult Education Program Specialist for the Office of Vocational and Adult Education, has retired after spending many years as a leader in adult education. One of the founders of the NRS, he worked tirelessly to make sure it was the best system that It could be. From the late night phone calls in the beginning, to the hundreds, if not thousands, of emails he got daily towards the end, he was as dedicated as anyone ever was. Working closely with Mike, we came to appreciate him and the hard work he put in to this system. He was respected by all, both inside and outside of work. AIR will greatly miss working with him.

Jay LeMaster will take over Mike’s job of monitoring the NRS project for the Education Department.  We look forward to working with Jay.
