The first Distance Education Course “NRS Basics: An Introduction to the NRS” is starting soon.The first NRS distance education course will begin in mid-February. This unique 5-week facilitated online course touches on the basics of the NRS while allowing participants to complete weekly lessons around his or her own schedule. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussions with others directors through discussion forums and find out what is going on in other states. Topics include: NRS History, Accountability in Adult Education, Measuring Educational Gains, Goal Setting, Data Collection, and Quality Control. If you are interested, please inform your state director who will contact Larry Condelli at nrs@air.org. |
NRS Project Annual ReportThe 2007-2008 NRS annual report has been finalized and has been posted to the NRSweb site on the publications page. The report provides an overview of the project activities performed over the last year, such as Trainings, Technical Assistance, Data Collection and Analysis, Assessment, and Communication and Dissemination.
