Dates for the Leadership Institute for State Directors Dates Announced

The NRS project is holding a Leadership Institute for State Directors of Adult Education sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Vocational and Adult Education. The two-part NRS Leaserhips Training will take place through a combination of on-line and in-person training beginning in late September and continuining through February 2010.

The training is focused on general leadership skills for state directors of adult education, and will have a broader focus than other NRS-specific training usually conducted by the project.

Travel, meals, hotel and workshop costs are paid through the NRS project for state directors; we strongly encourage at least one other person to attend with the state director at the state’s cost.

If you would like additional information, please contact Larry Condelli at lcondelli@air.org. All applications must be submitted by August 4.
