2004 Training on NRS Data Monitoring for Program Improvement
This workshop is the fourth in a training series designed to promote the quality and use of data collected under the NRS. The goal of the workshop is to provide training to State staff on how to meet requirements to set Local program performance standards, and how to better monitor and continuously improve their local programs using NRS data.
NRS Guide
- The NRS Data Monitoring for Program Improvement provides guidance on how to use NRS data to affect performance through the use of performance standards. It describes models for setting performance standards and the different policy and program improvement goals you can implement with each model. It also explores the program processes and variables that influence performance on each measure, ways to examine these processes through monitoring, and models for program improvement.
Facilitation & Professional Development Materials
- The Training Manual includes facilitator notes and participant handouts. Combined with the PowerPoint slides these materials correspond to the Developing NRS Data Monitoring for Program Improvement guide and will enable the user to train other state and local staff on how to monitors programs for improvement.
