NRS Guide

  • Developing An NRS Data System: Putting the Pieces Together is a guide developed to help state and local adult education staff who make informed decisions on the design and development of a data system. It outlines a process for identifying requirements that reflects the range of needs from functional and operational perspectives.

Facilitation & Professional Development Materials

  • The Facilitator Notes, Participant Handouts, and PowerPoint slides correspond to the Developing An NRS Data System: Putting the Pieces Together guide on Building Guide and will enable the user to train other state and local staff on how to analyze requirements and effectively communicate in the development of an effective data system.

The National Reporting System for Adult Education (NRS) is administered by the Division of Adult Education and Literacy in the Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education at the U.S. Department of Education.
