National meetings are held with state directors and the Federal staff to discuss the current status of the adult education program and future implementations, as well as to gather feedback from states on future initiatives.

2010 National Reporting System for the 21st Century Congress of Adult Education State Directors

In this meeting state adult education directors will consider and discuss proposed changes to the National Reporting System (NRS). The meeting will present an overview of current issues, including a discussion of NRS core and follow-up measures.

2005 The Third Wave: National Seminar on NRS Improvement for State Directors of Adult Education
This training reviewed NRS policy and procedural changes proposed by the U.S. Department of Education for the next two years. We discussed changes and implications for State and Local data collection and explored ways to implement smooth and efficient changes in your state.
