Data Detective (February 8, 2007)
State staff from adult education and labor departments in Maryland, South Dakota, and Tennessee shared their strategies for using data to monitor compliance with NRS and state requirements, evaluate data quality, and assist in program improvement efforts. This was the second Data Detective webinar, which is similar to the earlier webinar held on October 3, 2006 (see details below) with different perspectives from other states. New Carousel Exercise Added to Data Detective Training Resources (January 10, 2007)
This webinar introduced a new exercise: the teacher-level data carousel. This exercise is modeled on the data carousel exercise presented at the live Data Detective training events held in the summer of 200; however, the new exercise uses data from the classroom level instead of program level. The webinar presented the new exercise and suggested guidelines for training use.
Please note: Due to technical difficulties, this webinar was conducted as a conference call. Therefore, we do not have a recording to view or download.
