Data Tools for Monitoring and Program Improvement: 

OSSE AFE sub-grantees participate in a Self Assessment (SA1)/Preliminary Monitoring Review and Self-Assessment (SA2)/Final Monitoring Review annually.

OSSE AFE sub-grantees conduct four classroom observations and student surveys annually.

OSSE AFE staff/monitors review and score Self-Assessment/Preliminary and Final Monitoring Reviews, provide directives and recommendations for improvement, and conduct follow-up site visits, conference calls, and webinars to discuss local program performance.

OSSE AFE staff/monitors provide technical assistance to sub-grantees and track sub-grantees’ implementation of continuous improvement plans.
