The 2023 NRS targeted training, From Concept to Action – Teacher Retention, provided an opportunity for states to explore and discuss teacher attrition and retention. Participants 1) identified state-specific and program-wide reasons behind teacher attrition and retention; 2) created a detailed action plan to guide new or continued strategy implementation regarding teacher retention; and 3) initiated asset mapping for state-level resources and guidance for local providers to support teacher retention.

Participating states: Alabama, Georgia, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oklahoma
